We all talk about those fabulous cars at those cool auto expos, the brilliant designs and their genius designers. But have you ever realized that there are way more failures than successful modifications? If there are some beautiful car mods that leave you breathless then there are some equally hideous ones that you may not know about. We've pulled them out for you so you can have a laugh at the bloopers, the disasters and the ugliest car modifications that should have been crushed the day they took form. Presenting the glorious 10 that you would love to hate.
1. Pig mobile
Be it the sickening pink paint job or the hideous nose job, the pig mobile car deserves to be demolished right away. One of the ugliest car mods ever, it is the princess of the disaster list.
2. Pick-up Ferrari
A cross between a pick-up truck and a Ferrari, this mod makes you want to shed a tear. The tilted hood, Lamborghini doors and the blinding red color aren't a sight for sore eyes. The cross didn't work out and should have been left lying on the drawing board.
3. Taller ain't always smarter
How do you even get into this monstrosity? This unexplainable design which needs you to carry stairs in your backpack has to be one of the most senseless car mods ever done. The slim, tall wheels and sedan body far from complement each other.
4. Big, fat and downright ugly
Only one word describes it: 'ugh'. It's as hideous as the pig mobile and maybe even more and begs the question 'why'? Whatever be the reason, this car mod isn't just ugly but scary looking as well.
5. 'The Doors'
We all love Lamborghini doors but this is just way too much. 'The Doors' inspired mod glares out at your with its protruding doors and garish paint job. Imagine having to shut the doors especially if you're in a hurry. Another sad reminder that the world does have its share of inartistic designers.
6. The tank
This tank-like modification of the Hummer is weird and uses up more gas than the original one, which is saying a lot. How far and how long does it go on those tank wheels is anybody's guess. This huge car is one of the strangest modifications as it's made things more complicated for the driver who has lesser control and even fewer parking options left. We hate it for this reason and the fact that it looks downright weird.
7. Lights all the way
Sometimes people overdo things to please themselves. Then there are those who do it seemingly to irritate others.
This mod figures in the second category and it irritates in plenty. The one too many bright lights are blinding and one wonders if the designer who made it even had any vision at all. The lights are sure to disorient other drivers especially at night, no doubt causing a few accidents along the way. A threat to public safety, you would love to hate this car.
8. Ninja Turtle
Turtle turned ugly and this time it's so hideous that it makes you want to make a run for your life. If you thought that ugliness couldn't kill, think again. The monstrous look of this small car is hard to forget and what is more memorable is the hideous green paint job. It could have been a Volkswagon Beetle once upon a time, but with all the weird mods, it's anyone's guess.
9. Four lights too many
Yes, we know people adore headlights, but why this much? Looking like something otherworldy and alien, this car mod is sure to confuse drivers like the car at number 7. This 8-headed monstrosity doesn't please us one bit, even if all the eight heads had bulbs. The vehicle really needs another modification before it becomes acceptable to look at. Till then, it honors our list of the 10 must not have modified cars.
10. The Batmobile
Batman must be sobbing his eyes out. It looks like his once enormous wealth went down the drain and he had to pick this up from the scrapyard. A sad attempt at creating a Batmobile, suffice it to say the designer won't be called to design or modify any car in the future. But the sheer bravery of the modder for putting those Batman logos on this chariot wins our admiration and so deserves a place on our list of cars you'd love to hate.
