1951 Chrysler K310

The engineering division of the Chrysler Corporation is credited with the creation of the K310. It took over two and a half years for the design to get ready. First various sketches were put in place and then a clay model, 3/8th the size of the would be car was prepared and sent to Italy. In Italy also many changes were made in the design and finally the car body was entirely handmade and was ready on November 2, 1951. The car used a K-310 engine, therefore its name. It had a unique seating arrangement, where the back seat is divided off the center and therefore the driver and the center passenger will not have to move aside while other passengers would get aboard.
