1955 Piaggio Vespa welcomes you with a bouquet

RecyclArt contributor Neokentin discovered this astonishing 1955 model year Piaggio Vespa scooter wasting away neighbor’s house and asked him if he could borrow it and convert into a vintage flower pot. Without getting into the technical details of the transaction that ensued (since we really have no clue what the terms of the agreement were!), the artist turned the wasting old scooter into a Roman Holiday (the 1953 romantic comedy starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn) –themed vintage planter.

Albeit slightly bigger than your average planter, the Vespa Flower Pot was bedazzled using leftover tiles from a bathroom makeover project which gave the old scooter the ability to withstand all weather conditions as it sits pretty in his outdoor terrace.
