2012 Detroit Auto Show: Volkswagen showcases Caddy Match special edition

Volkswagen has added a special edition to its VW Caddy line up named the Caddy Match, which is a value for money vehicle and is capable of covering all the needs of its users. This special edition vehicle launched at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show is equipped with several modern features including a trip computer, modern system for climate control system and power windows. This car also supports Bluetooth connectivity. The German automaker has also used power exterior mirrors and cruise control in this vehicle with color-matched bumpers.

Paul Vissian, Product Marketing Manager at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, claims that the Caddy Match is a brilliant special edition to one of the most popular compact vans in the UK. He added that his company has designed this van after carefully studying the market and the needs of the people. According to Vissian, the Caddy Match, loaded with several useful and modern specifications, is best value for money vehicles ever released by the company.

The Powertrain

Volkswagen will launch the special edition Caddy Match in two TDI engine models with BlueMotion technology. One model will sport a 1.6 L engine, while the other will be powered by a 2.0 L engine. These engine variations are available for both the Caddy Maxi and the Caddy. Not much information is available about the output of these two engines or the high speed which these vehicles can achieve.
