Italian company Umberto Palermo Design is the brains and brawn behind this weird supercar. Named Vittoria, the vehicle was unveiled at the 2012 Qatar Motor Show though we’re not sure it would exactly win awards for its radical looks. Having said that, we do see the delicious blend of 1930’s-racecar derived silhouettes and a cutting edge and rather Tron-inspired exterior as being very definitely out of the ordinary for vehicles in its segment.

With some unique details in its design, the Umberto Palermo Vittoria Supercar features a lot of repeating motifs like the exhaust pipes that also make an appearance at the front as the front air intakes. The striking full-length LED taillights are also impressive and the jetfighter-esque cabin adds to the dazzling and bizarre appeal of this supercar.
The fishbowl cabin of the Umberto Palermo Vittoria Supercar incorporates flowing doors on the metallic white side panels. Since the car is a pure design concept and would not make it to production, talking about its drivetrain is kind of irrelevant though the design house does suggest that it runs on a V8 petrol engine assisted by an electric motor.
If you think of the vehicle as an artistic sculpture, it could be compared to Picasso’s Les Demoiselles d'Avignon in terms of complexity and infused artsy metaphors. Judged purely against the standards of automotive design, however, the vehicle is just plain eccentric. But we suppose it’s the kind of vehicle with looks that grow on you over time.
