2013 BMW M3 Coupe Frozen Edition unveiled

Following the enthusiastic response that the M3 Lime Rock Park Edition got, BMW has launched yet another range of special edition coupes from the M3 series. Offered in red, white or blue matte paints from the company’s exclusive Frozen finishes, the new models follow in the footsteps of the Frozen Gray, Frozen Black and Frozen Silver BMW coupes that came with such delicate exterior finishes that they were required to be cleaned of bird droppings and trees sap immediately and by hand only to avoid permanently damage.

Even though the special paint finishes will not be accompanied by a modification to the vehicles’ powertrains, the finish will be offered on the M3 coupe’s Competition Package that boasts of gears and gadgetry like stability control settings, a high-performance tuning for the suspension, electronic damper control, a suspension lowered by 10-millimeter lower and matte black finished 19-inch light alloys. The special 2013 BMW M3 Coupe Frozen editions will also get fully exposed carbon fiber on the roofs, blacked out exhaust tips, fender vents and kidney grilles.

BMW has announced that it will only produce around 150 copies of the 2013 M3 Coupe Frozen special editions in various colors. The vehicles will hit production in January 2013 with the vehicles being ready t hit showrooms later in the year. Pricing for the special edition models begins at $76,395 which include shipping costs.
