At the heart of every Aston Martin lies an engine that is an embodiment of effortless power and torque. The Rapide features a hand made 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 477 PS with maximum power delivered at 6000 rpm and 600 Nm (443 lbft) of peak torque at 5000 rpm. A specifically tuned six-speed Touchtronic automatic double transmission has been provided which enable the driver to change gear either automatically or manually via the magnesium paddles mounted on the steering column. The Rapide achieves 0-100 kilometers per hour at 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 296 Km/Hour.The car gives 4 kilometers per liter on city roads while it it achieves a fuel efficiency of 7 kilometers per liter on Highways.
