Sporting a Volkswagen 1967 Beetle exoskeleton, this bug-like Rat Rod comes with a Japanese engine sourced from a Suzuki GSXR motorcycle. If that union wasn’t unholy enough for purists, the vehicle retains its right hand drive creds just to make life that bit more hellish for anyone who tries to steal this alien Rat Rod. Created by Rossville, Georgia-based Hudlow Axle, the bespoke hot rod comes with a custom front and rear suspension and a tubular space frame that is channeled out to a mutated VW Beetle body.

The front-mounted four cylinder engine on the mod is sourced from a Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorbike and outputs 185 ponies. Mated to a six-speed manual transmission, the rot is a decent bet for anyone looking to make some quick cash on the drag strip. Weighing in at a mere 1200 lbs, the mod comes complete with Halibrand wheels that almost stand as tall as the cabin itself.
The matt-black paintjob on the vehicle is offset by a splash of angular graphics on a gray background along the sides of the vehicle. Sitting super-low on the kerb, this VW Bug may faintly resemble Micky Mouse’s head when viewed from a distance, but it surely does make a great case for anyone looking for an offbeat car to throw into the rat rod mix.
