Do-it-yourself projects can bring out the best and the worst in people. While some results are truly awe-inspiring, others make you wonder what the makers were contemplating. Of course, most DIY projects are solely for the pleasure of the creators themselves. Either way, they’re a fun way to put your creativity to work.

We stumbled across a project that we’re not that sure about though the concept does make for an interesting read. It concerns turning a Honda Civic into a Bugatti. While you try to get your head around that, we’ll show you how it can be done.
An eBay seller is hawking his Bugatti Veyron kit made out of fiberglass for about $5,000. Though the kit gives you a chance to transform your ordinary Civic into what is said to be the world’s most expensive car, don’t expect to have it look like the original. The kit is said to be able to work only on Civic models produced from 1992-95 so if you have one that’s from the later years, you’re out of luck.
The kit consists of eight fiberglass pieces with the seller claiming that it fits like a glove though you may need to make a few adjustments. The cost of the set up is inclusive of shipping charges.
We’re not sure if the Veyron kit will go down well with those looking to transform their Civics. So far, the seller known as ‘Fiberglassdesign4you’ hasn’t received many positive comments. We do know that there are many body kits in the market, all designed to give you your money’s worth. Which is why we’re wondering if ‘Fiberglassdesign4you’ will be able to successfully market his set up.
Even if you aren’t a fan of the eBay seller’s offering, you have to admit it could give your battered Civic a bit of a boost. If you could make those adjustments and have it fit like a glove, you could set a few heads turning, hopefully in admiration.
