For most automobile enthusiasts, the bane of their passion is lack of money. Lack of money to buy the cars of their dreams or to pimp their rides. For fans of the Camaro, the fifth generation model is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cars to have come out of the line-up. The muscle car exudes style and performance and was further given a boost with the Transformers film franchise portraying the autobot, Bumblebee, as a robot that could transform into a yellow Camaro.
But if you’re among the many folks who can’t afford to shell out cash for a new ride, there’s an affordable way to get your hands on something that resembles this Chevy-produced pony car. Southern California’s Electric Cart Warehouse has taken to eBay to introduce a body kit that can be fitted over a golf cart. The kicker? The body has been modeled to look like a fifth-gen Camaro.
Granted, it’s just a kit and doesn’t even fit over a regular car. But for true fans of the Camaro, shelling out $1,499 per unit shouldn’t be something to wail about. The kit was made for 2004 and newer golf carts manufactured by Club Car. It consists of a rear cowl, grille, hood and the front end. It features a glossy black paint job with red flames licking the front and transitioning to the rear. An additional $399 can get you a different paint job if the red and black aren’t to your taste.
The golf cart body kit shouldn’t be considered as a replacement for the real deal, though purchasing a unit would certainly turn your dull cart into a head-turner. It doesn’t look half bad either and cruising around a golf course in one of these babies is sure to make you the envy of your golf buddies.
