Loyalists of American carmaker Ford located all over the world and Mustang fans in particular may disparage its latest trends in designing cars but on the whole Ford has taken a brave step forward in customizing its design in conformity with next generation commuting and driver preferences. Criticism apart the new design does make the upcoming launches of the various model of the brand look more eye-catching.

The most spectacular revelation among the pack is that of the marquee’s premier Mustang model of cars. The Mustang’s styling has been alleged to be borrowed from the styling seen of the Evos concept car. Further, the design of the car’s aerodynamics has been borrowed heavily from the styling cues of the 2013 edition of the Fusion sedan which in turn took inspiration from the styling trends of the Aston Martin ensemble.
Although the Internet is already abuzz with various clumsy simulations of Ford’s anticipated design cues but thanks to expert design analysts like Jon Sibal, Ford enthusiasts can now tend to get a realistic visualization of Ford’s new styling cues for Mustang. Exchanging the extra long nose of the previous models for one that is ideally suited for a sports car, the 2015 Mustang borrows stylish grilles of the Evos concept, whereas classy lines adorn the front setting of the Mustang giving it a forceful yet dynamic look.
Ford has decided to replace the model’s erstwhile retro looks to compliment the carmaker’s endeavor to include the 2015 Mustang to join the carmaker’s global One Ford Model Policy. Industry analysts also tend to agree with the company’s policy since generally the previous models have been hugely successful in North American markets but received a mediocre response in overseas markets
With its rechristened looks Ford is also planning to gain a foothold in the niche market of Gen Next and Boomer crowds. Although the previous generation Mustang lovers seemed to be quite happy with the car’s retro looks, but according to in-house industry analysts the next generation Mustang enthusiasts won’t for settle anything less appealing or trendsetting in sync with current market trends of creating attractive and sleek looking sports cars. Ford hopes that this reasoning might help change attitudes and attract younger buyers and help increase the dwindling sale of this respected model.
It’s not only the design specs that have been overhauled, but the new Mustang 2015 is also rumored to be a powerhouse of interesting features. An independent suspension may be equipped with the car to transform the model into a fully operational sports car. The car’s new powertrain has been rumored to include the high yielding 5.0 liter 420 horse power V8 engine with rigid steering controls and highly receptive pedals. The customized 2.7 liter and 4 cylindered Eco-Boost V6 engine that is capable of producing over 300 hp of engine power is also a top contender to grab the final slot in the new 2015 version.
It would only take Ford to reduce a few extra pounds of the Mustang 2015 to propel it to dethrone the BMW M3, which is the current occupant of the top spot overtaking its overpriced and underpowered engine.
