$1m car crash involves Bentley, Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin and what… a Blonde

I used to think all those blonde jokes were written by sexist pigs. And then I heard about this bit of news shaking up the viral world. The tiny principality of Monaco witnessed the world’s most expensive car crash ever with up to five high end luxury cars being involved in the pile up. Not a pretty sight for car lovers clearly but when we learnt that the blonde driving the £250,000 Bentley Azure that started the super expensive pile-up, couldn’t even get her doors open to let herself and her two passengers (one blonde, one brunette) out and had to wait for the cops to come and sort the mess out as hundreds gathered to witness the spectacle. What’s even more unexplainable is why they couldn’t just hop out of their convertible since they clearly had to just undo their seatbelts to pop out!

$1m car crash involves Bentley, Mercedes S class, Ferrari F430 Porsche 911 and an Aston Martin.

The £700,000 (roughly a million USD) five-car pile-up started when the unidentified blonde 'elbowed' her 2.7-ton Bentley past a £75,000 white Mercedes S Class. The woman then continued forward ramming into a black Ferrari F430 worth around £143,000. The next two additions to the pile - a £150,000 Aston Martin Rapide and a Porsche 911 worth £80,000 - were just unfortunate enough to have trusted someone driving a Bentley to have reasonable road skills as they hard-braked themselves into the threesome.

The accident took place near the Place du Casino, a popular tourist haunt, and a crowd of hundreds quickly gathered around snapping pictures of the staggeringly posh demolition derby. The victims, i.e. the cars will require over £40,000 in repairs with the Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin having suffered damage to their pretty front wings and bumpers. The Bentley, of course, will require the same repairs plus a new door.

We’re sure that stand-up comics around the world, including car aficionado Jay Leno, would have a field day making fun of this story. We, at Automotto, however, would still like to take the high road and refrain from making rude jokes about blondes. We would rather just let the pictures speak for themselves!
