With the economy issues looming large over the Hummers probable future, which looks darker with the latest V8 engine finding a place under its hood, its hard to believe that we wont see them getting sold after 2020. The only hope is to develop a new engine which though looks out of equation considering the present stance of the company which is busy face-lifting the existing models, the latest one being the Hummer H2 Truck. The experts would pick on the exterior modifications at one go and for those who can’t, the Hummer H2 Truck visibly gets a different seven-slot grille at the front with a lowered bumper courtesy of that looming curse.

Talking more business, something which pleases me in the Humvy’s case is an increased towing capacity by 783 kg’s over the 2954 kg’s offered in the older variants. Finally a glimpse at the interior reveals a redesigned dash along with a third row incorporation which takes the seating capacity to seven. All these features would please the Heavy-Duty Hummer admirers to the fullest leaving me at bay for I would like to hear about a new engine and not the upgrades as they are mandatory and capable to keep it going only for a few more years.
