The grand arena of motors at Paris saw Lotus ruling the roosts with its five cars rolling one after the other. Among those was Elite hybrid sports car concept, which, as per the automaker, will redefine the modern classic. Elite has an electric hard top and is powered by 5.0 liter V8 engine that churns out a massive 620hp and 720 Nm of torque.

Elite is a technically advanced without beeing too heavy on the environment as the vehicle is paired with hybrid technology and also features F1 inspired KERS system that harvests the energy lost during the braking.
Measuring 4.60m in length, 1.90m in width and 1.32m in height, Elite is a 2+2 seater, front-mid-engined, rear wheel drive car that weighs 1650kg and gets a sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.6 sec. The Elite is expected to hit the market in 2014 with a price of around £115,000.
