2012 Fiat 500 Cabrio by Gucci, a new design icon

The elegant and smart Fiat 500 Gucci Edition is a collaboration of two big Italian names, Gucci and Fiat. The combination shows the perfect example of style and craftsmanship. The car bears small resemblance with the shape of BMW’s Mini Cooper and Gucci positions its emblem at perfect places with the seat belt and white leather pattern. It is known as 500 Cabrio or 500C.

Fiat has launched a Gucci version of its open-top 500C

The car announced at the Milano Fashion Week will also be shown at the Geneva International Auto Show from March 3 to March 13. The car will also be displayed at multiple locations in metropolitan cities like Tokyo, Paris, etc. The UK launch part for the ultra luxurious special edition of Fiat 500 took place on June 27, 2011 in London, England.

As the name says, 500C is the convertible version of the stylish minicar by Fiat. It comes in two colors - pearl glass plain black and white. White will be available with matte chrome plated materials paired with ivory and black interiors. Black will be available with shiny chrome plated accents and interiors contrasting sharp black and white. For both of them the soft top is black with the green red green pattern printed lengthwise. The pattern also appears on the seat belt, seat, gearshift, key cover, and carpets.

Inside, the car gets special stitching, velvet finish on the radio panel, chrome plated elements, and two leather seats. The chic embroidery and other exclusive materials make the car stylish yet functional. Exclusive materials include seven air bags, climate control facility, a MP3 playback DVD player, and a leather steering wheel mounted with radio controls.

The car is equipped with a 100hp engine and is embarked with Gucci carpet, key cover, and shift gear. The exteriors are personalized by rims for 195/45 R16 wheels. The 16-inches set of alloys carry a “G” logo and the Gucci signature is displayed on the door pillars and tailgate. The vehicle can be booked online from August 2011 for 17,000euros ($24,000).
