Antro Solo – An electric Car that splits into two

A crazy invention from crazy people, that’s what I’ll call this electric car that splits into two smaller versions and joins to make a big one. Dubbed as Antro Solo concept, when this car is separated it’s a seating capacity for three and becomes a big vehicle, Antro Duo, with a seating for six when joined.

Made by Antro of Hungary, this car is a hybrid drive and has solar cells on its roof that generate electricity to empower the vehicle to run up to 20km a day at city speeds. For the making of this vehicle, Antro has invested 1.5 million euros and the car is expected to be delivered sometime in 2012
