“Paladin” may not be the best name for bull sculptures, but artist Bettye Hamblen Turner’s sculpture deserves appreciation for the beautiful execution. The artist makes sculptures using stainless steel, carbon steel and recycled auto and motorcycle parts, so there’s a definite ring of environment-goodness with these sculptures.

This sculptures is the fifth in line from the artist’s Texas Longhorn Bull sculptures. The use of carbon steel means that a rust patina will eventually form over the sculpture, which the artist believes will reform the design and give it a better look.
