Audiovox PS2-based in-car entertainment system

Audiovox has announced that it will soon begin selling its VOD10PS2 Mobile Video PlayStation 2 in-car entertainment system. The system that offers rounds of fun for the rear seat passengers will have the Plays Station 2 integrated into the overhead console, which will also sport a 10.2-inch drop down monitor with 16:9 aspect ratio, and it also has Dome lights for the effect.

Wires for the console will stay out of sight, and since the two controllers and fold-flat headphones are wireless as well, there won’t be any problem of tangled wires with this thing. The system will also be able to handle CD and DVD playback, and a 16-channel FM modulator will let audio from the system flow through the vehicle’s sound system. The driver/ front seat passenger will be able to keep a tab on all the gaming going at the back with a remote control. The system will include Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando and Hot Shots Golf 3 PS2 games and cost $950.
