BMW H2 in its icy avatar is the Coolest Art Car Ever

Please don’t take the above pictured object for anything before I tell you it’s a car. Yes, it’s one of BMW’s hydrogen-powered race cars under a sheath of steel mesh, stainless steel mirrors, and many layers of ice. This car is entitled as ‘Your Mobile Expectations’ and is a part of BMW’s Art Car Series. More images after the jump.

Created by Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, it took three years to remove the body of a BMW H2 and replace it with a skin of steel mesh and reflective metal. The project was supported by BMW and is intended to show the relation between car and Climate change.
