Recycling to keep the environment clean and green is what we need to prevent further deterioration of our surroundings. General Motors is out again to use waste which has been discarded, thinking it has lost all the worth and value attached to the material.

A team of enthusiastic young people from the Lasky Recreation Center in Detroit have flipped Chevy Volt battery covers that had been thrown away, into duck houses. This is not the first time that GM has come out with such a brilliant idea to re-use materials; they also developed a way because of which the BP Oil Spill Booms were altered into a whopping 100,000 pounds of plastic resin. This was further exploited as bits and pieces that deflect air around the 2011 Chevrolet Volt’s radiator.
Battery is the life of every vehicle and a home life of every living being. So, thrown away scrap has been used in the right way to provide shelter for ducks.
According to The General Motors
These homes will provide a safe place for wood ducks and even screech owls to lay their eggs.
Well, thinking about the environment is definitely a good deed and people at GM are doing every bit they can to protect it further. This once again proves that creativity knows no boundaries and even waste can be brought back to life again.
