Chinese students erect their version of Transformer from an old Jiefang truck

Chinese are amazingly creative, not always that they duplicate but often strike with unusual creations that are the hallmarks of ingenuity and forces people to think otherwise. Well, this time, it’s a group of students from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts who have erected an incredible version of Transformer using the parts of an old Jiefang truck, for which they paid roughly $4,500. And this is original, made in China, mind you. Students chose Chinese historical hero Guan Yu as a model for the Transformer statue which is 9.4-meters-tall and weighs 4-ton. Though the structure is taken from the Transformers movie, yet only his face and blade are original pieces, everything else is recycled truck junk.
