Green commuting is such a craze that it is becoming popular across the world and the designs are catching on. While modern vehicles are going green in regards to their emissions and are trying to convert to zero-emissions as rapidly and effectively as possible, it is still some way away. Stefan Mathys designed a concept commuting vehicle along with the members of a Volkswagen team that is all set to bring the future of commuting to the present day world.

City Transport Cell (CTC) is one such design that allows us to commute in a green way. This emission-free green vehicle has been designed with the needs of the city-commuter in mind. The CTC has been developed as a wonderfully unique transportation vehicle that is function specific and is exactly designed to do what it is supposed to do. The CTC is a flexible and easy to navigate car in the hectic urban live. All the exterior parts are easy to maintain due to CTC’s flexible puzzle idea. All the parts come as a unit and can be replaced with one click. The interiors also provide you with a very flexible option for the load.

The wonderful concept of CTC lies in the fact that it is completely devoid of all previous designs of a car and does not keep the external form of previous creations in mind. The work seems independent of previous influence and it also does not aim for too much. The car is only designed for daily commuting and it only works for that. This is a nice little design that tells us that the future lies in simple and specific green designing.
