"Nobody knows Indian roads better"

No classy car spared: 2011 Chrysler 300 gets 'limoed' by American tuner

When a reputed custom coach maker from the U.S. advertises a Chrysler mod that they are selling for nearly 80 grand, you’d think they’d be financially comfortable enough to pay someone to write a comprehensible description of it. Sadly, Ultimate Custom Coach Inc. chose to cheap out on this very facet of their promotional campaign for this astounding 2011 Chrysler 300 mod that they created and that has left a lot of us confused. Of course we did scavenge the World Wide Web trying to get the exact specs of this puppy for our readers, but it would have been lot better if the firm had provided the info themselves and in the internationally accepted version of English.

Coming back to the stretched-out version of the otherwise gorgeous 2011 Chrysler 300, well, anyone who really liked the original would be a little bewildered with the extra leg space in the back seat because not many classy cars can actually survive being limoed without looking Vegas-y. And this particular mod is no different.

With less than 71 miles under its belt, the pimped out ride comes with all the original gadgetry under the hood. The 3.6-liter V6-based conversion comes with a 5-speed shiftable automatic transmission. The rear wheel drive produces a torque of 260 ft-lbs at 4800 rpm, also generating a 292 horsepower at 6350 rpm. The virtually brand new model comes with “all the bells and whistles” of the original, according to the seller.

So what did the modder add to it to make to so darn ugly? Well, 140-inches of extra body paneling to start with.

And then they also threw in vertical doors, large LCD TV screens, mirrored stainless steel ceiling, strobe lighting, custom-made large chrome wheels, under-car LED lighting plus fiber optic lighting, a highly polished bar in black with a full set of glasses, upgraded stereo system with Alpine combo CD-DVD head unit that provides full mp3 and iPod capability, high-quality speakers and subwoofers, smart coach control system, power windows, floor mats, dual air conditioning with auto climate control and a handy anti-theft system.

For $78,500, the mod certainly covers the whole nine yards and may be just the kitschy push that your limo business needs to take its “Vegas Experience” package to the next level. For a Chrysler fan, well, the same amount might buy you two of the original beauties, or a really nice health insurance plan that covers heart attacks caused by the sight of ugly limos!
