The new Batmobile, its heard, has been shipped to the sets of the latest movie in the franchise, "The Dark Knight Rises".

The above snap has been captured while the famous Batmobile was transferred to the sets of "Dark Knight rises" in Pittsburg. The Batmobile is an automobile loaded with gadgets, used by Batman in the comics to fight crime in Gotham City. The car has evolved over time along with the movies and now with Nolan's version of Batman making a huge presence in Hollywood, this supercar had to be of highest technical standards. Batman first drives the batmobile in DC comic No.27 released in may 1939.
A sedan, it was generally refered as "his car". Then slowly it upgraded to the bat motif, with the distinctive wing-shaped tailfins. It then had the "specially built high powered auto". The initial red colour gave way to black 'Bat' colour. Then later the other gadgets followed - The Batplane, Batcycle, and then as Robin joined in the team, he had his own Redbird. Christopher Nolan introduces the automobile in the very first film, "Batman Begins". When it came to his second movie, more advancements were made on Batmobile too. Now it could also contain the equally famous batcycle. We have to wait to see what Nolan has planned for his third installment of the Batman series.
Along with the Batmobile, Batman's favorite Batpod motocycle, and Gotham City Swat team Vans have also been shipped to the Pittsburg set. The vans were spotted during the shoot in London's Smithfeild market, last month. Lets wait and watch for "TheDark Knight Rises" movie, releasing next year featuring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway and Gary Oldman in the major roles. Hope Nolan has upgraded the Batmobile to give a thrilling conclusion to his franchise.
