Domus: Stylish mobile home on wheels!

The Beast:

Domus is a design that is different from many others earlier to it. While most Caravans and RVs try to attach a mediocre shelter behind wheels, they still do not have the feel of a full fledged home. Domus is truly one vehicle which allows you to carry your home where ever you intend to take it and we mean that quite literally. The design by Andrew Dutton is that of a compact home on wheels of Mercedes Sprinter Van. Its outrageous concept carries a house that is as good as any and if you have a facility to plug in the amenities like electricity, water and sanitation, then it becomes a complete home.

The Machine:

The concept of the Domus is to design a mobile home on the back of a Mercedes Sprinter Van. The new home on wheels will have a couple of floors and the ground floor is the heart of your fabulous home. It holds the kitchen and a room for social activities. The bedroom and the living room are designed upstairs. The design of the base is a lot more open allowing you to have fun and enjoy the time with friends and company. The design of the top floor guards your privacy. The entire home expands on parking and the glass, plastic and wood create a vibrant yet mobile home.

The Thrill:

Domus is designed for those who both love traveling and the comfort of their own home. The concept looks much different from the RVs and the two floor system is indeed a wonderful new idea that people would welcome. It is meant both for the young and the restless and the adventurous family man. It offers a new way of looking at traveling and gives a whole new meaning to ‘Home-On-Wheels’.
