Dual turbine-engine Lotus concept boasts 79, 000hp, does 16083km/h

The brainchild of Arturo Ariño Rábago, a Spanish designer, who‘ve envisioned a vehicle for 2067 is an amazing marvel that seems to fit well in that era. From the images one can make out that the vehicle is a beast, and rightly so, because the Lotus concept, as the vehicle is christened, has a power and speed matching the jets.

Engine specifications are simply astonishing as the vehicle is powered by a duel turbine and inline -8 that generates a whopping 79,000bhp at 90000rpm and massive torque of 13300 lb-ft at 78000rpm. Well, there is no end to the surprises as the beast gets a sprint from a standstill to 100km/h in just 0.46 seconds.

Measuring 5549mm long 3900mm wide and 930mm high from surface, the Lotus concept has a top speed of 16083km/h and weighs 860kg, which is the cardinal factor in giving this beast a jet like run with power matching the same.
