The Ducati Cucciolo was one was a famed bike in the post-war era. Mark Savory and Bill Johnson decided to recreate the bike, albeit with a modern touch. They built on the frame of a Schwinn single-speed pushbike, added a 48cc 2-stroke single cylinder engine, built a gas tank for the frame, repainted the bike and gave it new wheels. The result is a great looking bike that can cover 20 miles, but it definitely doesn’t match the original in fuel efficiency; that thing could go 225 miles on a gallon!
