"Nobody knows Indian roads better"

Eerie Concept Supercar sculpture created from recycled auto parts

If any car can make people scream on the road, it’ll look like this. But don’t you worry; it’s a sculpture, merely a piece of art. The art car comes out from thousands of parts from hundreds of cars that are recycled and welded together to give shape to this unique supercar. Hailed as Concept Supercar by Robosteel, the initial design of this alien looking supercar was created by Indian art designer Toonrama.

Based on the complex designs and structures of south Indian temples and the Kirtimukha sculptures, the sculpture took more than 750 man hours to the put car parts together, weld, and sharp the edges to create this 500kg eerie supercar. It will be put on display on at Earls Court, London, between November 4th-7th, 2010 and at the NEC, Birmingham from November 11th-14th, 2010. At the end of the show, the sculpture will be sold to raise money for a charity.
