Folks this is yet another flying car that has been created by Steve Saint who is the head of I-TEC (non-profit organization), solely as a mode of transportation to the remote Amazon regions. And by the way this flying car has just received the FAA Certification. Steve calls it Maverick which is sort of a buggy (the looks suggest it) with a 250-horsepower Subaru engine that takes it from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. The flying bit is sorted after by a 25 foot mast that locks the parachute in place and with the flip of a switch, the engine is mated to the propeller at the rear end. Apparently Steve and his team have been working on the development of Maverick for the last 8 years.

According to Saint, Maverick is going to have many viable applications when it is produced in numbers for example rescue missions, conquering rugged terrains or maybe even border patrol.
