The Aznom Fiat 500 motor Centrale, which is a modification of Fiat 500 Abarth, was unveiled by Aznom at the Top Marques car show which was recently held in Monaco. The car has been modified extensively by Aznom. The initial front engine layout has been changed to a mid-engine layout. Front wheel drive has been replaced with rear wheel drive.

Other modifications made to the vehicle include shifting the 1.4 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine to the rear compartment of the car. The engine has been taken from Fiat 500 Abarth. The vehicle comes with 5 speed manual transmission.
The car is lightweight weighing at only 1050kg. The manufacturer of the vehicle have also claimed that the car is capable of reaching a top speed of 245km/h and can reach a speed of 100km/h from zero in just 4.7 seconds. If this claim is true then it really speaks volume of the car's performance.
The interior of the car have also been changed drastically. Orange colored plastic cover have been used on the dashboard which replaces the old silvery look of the old dashboard. Orange color has also been used on the seats, inside of the doors and on the rear view mirrors. Although the use of the orange color was done to make the car look a little retro, it hardly achieves that purpose. On the outside, the use of the orange color on the rear-view mirrors is a complete mismatch with the white body of the car.
Since the car has only been unveiled recently, the handling characteristics and performance of the car is not yet known. But lets hope that Aznom has done a better job on that than their designing of the interior.
