First Jaguar XF finally rolls of the production line

We had been speculating an XF release since quite a while and can now breathe a sigh of relief with the news of the first XF rolling of the assembly line doing rounds, no hiccups for sure as even the images reveal the same.

The model which replaces the long standing S-Type has been lauded heavily ever since it's release in January, winning awards for its design and the striking interior. The XF can only get popular from here and more so for the fact that it can only be made on order so the exclusivity is already taken care off.

The top model pictured above would be donated to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust collection and would go on display with some class vintage rubies like the 1897 Grafton Phaeton and the stunning 1974 E-Type, that too, the last one which was ever built.

The first XF was fittingly driven off by Michael Quinn, Sir William Lyons' grandson, who got ecstatically quipped:

My Grandfather would have been immensely proud today. The new XF is a car that truly represents the core values which have lain at the heart of this great brand since its foundation in 1922 and I am thrilled to have been asked here today to witness this historic event from the best seat in the house!

Built at Jaguar's Castle Bromwich facility, the automaker has invested heavily to not only maintain the mammoth repute but to better it. This mid-size luxury sports sedan would be exported to 66 countries with the first deliveries to be made to the domestic customers in March, 2008.

The XF offers a 2.7 litre diesel version with a price tag of £33,900 and supercharged 4.2L V8 version for £ 54,900 and add the respective import duties for your region, they would surely make a deep hole in your pockets, but then these are only for the Baron Roth's to fetch while me and you have to merely stub.
