The Ford Harley-Davidson alliance is back and this time it is all set to release a 2012 version of its highly successful limited edition F-150 trucks. Bringing together the enthusiasm of HD motorcycles and the muscular image of Ford’s trucks, the 2012 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson looks to capture the aura of both the auto brands.

Fitted with a 6.2L V8 petrol engine that produces 306 kW power displacing 411 hp at 588 Nm (434 lb-ft) of torque, the 2012 special edition F-150 would feature an optional 4-wheel drive mechanism that would be connected to the 6-speed automatic transmission. Although, the full list of specs on what we can expect to find inside hasn't yet been released, the company has revealed delicious scoops on the exterior makeup of the new F-150.
The cool custom design is geared with all the standard equipment of the series like the 4.2” productivity screen, power moon-roof, remote start and voice-activated navigation. The newer tweaks on the latest model include tinted headlights, heated leather seats, scuff plates in brushed aluminum, bespoke bodyside graphics and interiors accented in snakeskin leather. With a bright chrome six-bar grille distinguishing the model from the others in the series, the truck also features a center console customized with the iconic Harley-Davidson badge.
With a cabin finished in high-gloss trim, distinctive new design enhancements also include 22” aluminum alloys (machined) that are customized with paint-on accents and a bespoke center cap. The 2012 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 will be available in a custom Tri-Coat paintjob in Tuxedo Black and Platinum White shades.
The new truck sits a littler lower on the curb than its predecessors and features a deployable, fully-integrated running board. Other goodies on the truck include ambient lighting, a power inverter with 110-volt capacity, fully power-adjustable performance pedals, and a rear view camera. With a max trailer towing capacity of 3,402 kg (7,500 pounds), the successful collaboration is expected to garner the same level of success as the previous variants of the enterprise.
