Ford has announced that it will launch a series of cars designed for the office users that make sure that you are perpetually linked to your office and ensure that you never take that one car for a family holiday. Ford now plans to put in broadband built-in web services in your car that allow your boss to track you down and leave you with few excuses.

Now being stuck in traffic might no longer be a reason for you to skip work for a while. If you are driving an F-150 pimped with a Microsoft Auto computer, Sprint web access and Garmin GPS, then it might never be too far away from the office desk. The experience of trauma does not end just there. It continues with features that include a 6.5-inch touchscreen, a wireless keyboard and mouse, 2GB of memory, an SD card slot, a USB port, and Bluetooth support.

Ford has always tried to make something new by integrating technology with existing models. On a serious note, this might be a wonderful step forward in many regards and it might allow you to do a lot more with your car than previously possible. Four different Ford Work Solutions will be available this fall on the new 2009 Ford F-150 XL, STX, XLT and FX4 trucks; F-Series Super Duty XL, XLT and FX4 trucks; and all 2009 E-Series vans. All of these will make sure that you are well connected. But if it is your boss who is gifting one to you, better be very careful.
