"Nobody knows Indian roads better"

Go 'Macho' with Triumph Speed Triple bike

Cannes in France is usually known for its international film festival which attracts a bevy of stars. Well, now there’s one more reason for the city to feel proud of i.e. The Triumph Speed Triple. It's a macho bike designed by Cannes-based 27-year-old graphic designer Benjamin Blanchard. The bike is equipped with 1050cc DOHC three cylinder fuel powered engine. Signature styling for this macho bike has been added by distinctive twin headlamps at the front end instead of the typical headlamps all bikes possess thereby imparting this bike a “bug eyed” look.

Its look stands out as different from the ordinary bikes despite the fact that it has been manufactured from the same stable as the staid Bonneville. Blanchard has painstakingly toiled at the design for more than a year at the workshop inside his house. All his hard work paid and the sales of the bike saw a massive surge since the day it was launched.

Also, with body work crafted from carbon fiber, this bike is not just ultra-light in weight but also extra-chic in design. To add perfection to minor details even the fenders have been made only after molds were taken from tires to ensure the best fit possible. Not only did this ensure perfection to each detail but it also resulted in fulfilling Blanchard’s very aim of minimal concept with maximum sensation to the biker. The striking fuel tank design and a single seat further contribute to make the Triumph Speed Triple capable of stopping not just pedestrians in their track but also traffic in its lanes.

Check out some of the photos of the bike taken by the designer himself to judge whether the bike is worthy of doing what only international stars do when at Cannes – show stopping!
