Fuel Cell vehicles face stern criticism not because of there technological deficiencies, but for their weird designing. The Automakers do not have an option as the Fuel stacks, which form the main part of the Fuel cell vehicles are usually placed under the floor of the car, which disfigure the entire appearance of the fuel cell vehicles, making them heavier and more or less doom shaped.

Honda seems to have taken this criticism in a positive way, as they know have an answer to this highly criticized problem. Their FCX Concept Fuel Cell vehicle is more streamlined and close to the ground.
The FCX has a Fuel Stack, which is 20% smaller than the one Honda developed in 2003; it is placed between the driver and the passenger's seat at the front (where the stick shaft lies in a normal car). The Stack weighs 2/3 rd of that in the 2003 version i.e. 67 kilograms, yet it produces more power than the older version.
The Concept of this fuel-cell vehicle is simple like any other fuel cell vehicle, as it runs on the power produced by the combination of oxygen and hydrogen ( stored in the fuel tank ) , with vapor as the only emission .
FCX almost effortlessly zipped at 100 miles per hour in a test drive. Honda is yet to reveal the price tag of the FCX; however, they did confirm that they would limitedly market this car in Japan and the US by 2008.
