Hover Scooter is not worth the expense!

Harsh Oct 21 2008

The levitating Hover Scooter from Hammacher Schlemmer, could be your personal hovercraft. An engine-powered fan, lifts the scooter above ground and the stream of air from a vent in the craft’s rear, steers the scooter. Acceleration and turns are managed by the rider shifting his body and weight, using the handlebars provided. The $17,000 hovering piece of metal can reach a top speed of 15mph, and still takes about 20 feet to halt. We’ve been fans of hovercrafts because they are cool, this one though, is pure mediocre. And it does not look like something that would be fun to ride; don’t believe us? Look at the guy in the pic, he was paid for it.
