The Latest budget accommodation concept in Berlin is Hüttenpalast. The idea brought over by Silke Lorenzen and Sarah Vollmer. Hüttenpalast, or Hut Palace, is a small hotel in the Neukölln neighborhood in southern Berlin. It is basically located in their formal vacuum cleaner factory which is now being converted into a hotel having renovated campsite caravans. The rates are very much in budget as they start from thirty Euros per night and the rooms gives an outdoor stay aura which is unlikely to get in the midst of a bustling city like Berlin. Already thinking of giving it a try? Wait a minute the reservations will be accepted only from June 2011 onwards!

This a totally a new concept in the market and likely to be appreciated by hikers and travelers as it gives cozy place to stay with a deferent touch and feel than the normal budget hotels and bed & breakfasts. Silke Lorenzen and Sarah Vollmer also plan to offer more luxurious accommodation facilities in the coming future.
The old production hall of 200 sq. meters holds the indoor gardens and the renovated caravans along with the wooden huts wherein you can sleep. The concept is a simpler version of German concept of spending some quality time in small garden plots in middle of so many other small garden plots. The guests can enjoy staying out even in winter with simple flip flops and shorts as the entire set up is indoors. The hotel also has an outdoor garden and courtyard which connects to the hotels cafe which offers wide range of food varieties. Overall it’s a great concept which fits in anybody's budget and worth giving a try.
