Lexus goes fast and furious with 'F'

The auto makers world wide have got their own divisions where the main purpose is to tweak cars so that they can go faster. Now the Lexus has also got it own division called 'F. Lexus'.

The first car to roll out under this division will be new IS-F sedan and it has a V8 engine. The engine is same as that of LS600h but has been retuned. This V8 will produce 465 hp and the car will make its debut in Detroit auto show.

The car is being tagged at the estimated price of $50,000.

Earlier Lexus was making high performance hybrid cars but looks like the temptation of petrol engine car has won in the end.
