On Wheels
Fast food chain Jack in the Box has jumped into the ever growing bandwagon of food-trucks with their retro '70s silk screened vans. the van is a 34 feet long vehicle which has a brilliant image of Jack-in-Chest armour represented by an ancient roman style chariot being pulled by a bear fanged tiger & a bear. The vehicle has been aptly named by the burger chain as Munchie Mobile.

The van has a outside window for ordering & pickup purposes. It comes with a flat screen TV which displays the menu for the customers. The interior of the this moving restaurant is fitted with a grill, fryer & a toaster. Currently the menu on offer is a little limited. The customers will get a selection of burgers, fries & tacos.
Amenities on Board
As mentioned earlier the truck comes equipped with a grill, fryer & toaster. In addition to these, it also comes with all the necessary tools required for employees to prepare food. The required energy comes from a powerful generator on board. This 34 feet long behemoth also contains within it a water heater and it is capable of carrying 30 gallons of potable water. Unlike other mobile food joints, the larger rig was put together with the same equipment as a Jack In the Box kitchen. The truck itself is about 12 feet longer than normal food trucks. It requires a minimum parking space of 55’ x 20’.
The Highs
According to the company officials the truck is really about giving the customers "what they want". Once this truck hits the road it can be spotted outside concert venues, sporting events as well as community functions. The truck will also be available if anyone wishes to avail of its services at their wedding functions. As far as the look of the vehicle is concerned, it is inspired from 1970's van art. One side of the truck is adorned by the easily recognizable painting of the company's mascot covered in body armor, riding a chariot pulled by a tiger & a bear.
The Lows
With all the good things on offer, the fear most people are expressing is that it might end up as just another fast food joint of which thousands already exists. There is nothing to show that it would be any different from the rest.
