The upcoming season of the TV show Jesse James Is A Dead Man will show Jesse James breaking the land speed record for a hydrogen powered vehicle. He built his record-braking vehicle on a Streamliner from the 1960s. The Streamliner has taken many shots at land speed records, mostly by the hands of Dees-Milodin Engineering.

The stuntman rebuilt the car, added two tanks of hydrogen at 10,000 psi and replaced its Chrysler engine with a 9.8-l twin-turbocharged V8 from Chevy. Running on hydrogen gas rather than liquid hydrogen, the vehicle was able to reach a top speed of 199.7 mph breaking the previous record of 185mph set by a BMW H2R. The record breaking feat will be broadcast by Spike TV as the season finale of the show, and will go on air on August 9.
