Jet engine powered bus does 367mph and belches 80-foot flame

With a passion for making things go fast, Stender and his team from Indy Boys Inc, based in Indianapolis, have come up with an unusual creation: a jet engine powered Bus. Well, the team took a yellow American-style school bus and fitted it with General Electric J-79 jet engine straight out of a F4 Phantom fighter jet that helps bus reach a scratching 367mph. This 42,000 hp, 10-foot-high, 35-foot-long bus belches 80 foot flame from the back creating massive clouds of smoke. However, this conversion doesn’t sound great as the bus is too hungry on petrol and burns 150 gallons of fuel in just one quarter-mile run. The bus has been christened as 'The School Time Jet-Powered School Bus', the entire vehicle is custom built by Stender with two purposes in mind: to entertain people and to keep kids off drugs because he believes ‘jets are hot, drugs are not.'
