Jet-powered R/C car to take a shot at the land speed record

Rick Kelly is getting ready for an attempt to the land speed record for the jet-powered radio controlled car, the Red Bull Mojet T40. The hand-built car is powered by two turbojets that should take it to 150kmph. The car is 1:10 scale replica of the current land speed record holder Thrust SSC, and will attempt its feat at the high-speed bowl at Lang Lang. But speed records are always meant to be broken, while the Thrust SSC faces competition from the Bloodhound SSC, we guess Kelly’s car will probably have a scaled down Bloodhound to face, that is, if it does manage to set the record first.
