M-Zero: A BMW fit for the Bond!

B.Sameer KumarApr 23 2008

I wonder what the next BMW that the Bond would be riding in would look like. With ultra-modern and super hot cars becoming a bit of a regular thing these days, it is only getting tougher to dish out that jaw-dropping car that will set itself apart from the pack. It has to be all the more stunning if the BMW in question has to carry the greatest secret agent of all time. But this car seems to be a pretty good one for the job as it is more car than one. Ever heard of the tagline “More car per car”? Well, this is more than one car in one car and that is indeed unique.

M-Zero is a car concept inspired by BMW M series which also has the shades of the Mercedes Benz in its backlight design and DB9 Aston Martin in the global silhouette of is definitely inspired by the DB9. Maël Oberkampf, the designer of M-Zero actually tried to make a model which could be considered as the equivalent of the R8 from Audi. And the result is M-Zero, a car concept that is the “synthesis” between the actual BMW design and a high end performance car which could become the most powerful model of the BMW legacy.

So what lies under the hood of the car and in the interiors of the car? Is the M-Zero good enough not just to woo the ladies with its looks but to comfort them inside it as Bond has no time to hit a hotel room this time around? For now, we do not exactly know that. But make sure you catch up on that as it comes and also do look out for this as it looks like something set to sizzle for the future.
