"Nobody knows Indian roads better"

MadeInGermany system assisted car is a page on wheels

It was only a matter of time before we heard something like this. A car that comes to you location when you call it. A group of German scientists, headed by Raul Rojas at Berlin's Free University (FU) have managed to develop a system called MadeInGermany (MIG) that allows the driver to send command via GPS enabled phone or computer so that the car can navigate its way through the shortest path.

If you are thinking that what about the navigation path? Well, the car calculates the shortest path possible and drives itself aided by sensors that read the road for any obstacles by creating a 3D image of the street therby allowing MIG aided car to detect oncoming traffic. In addition to that MIG has an in-build function to respond to traffic lights to keep-in with the highway code.

Couple that up with the Come Here Boy application, the MIG system allows remote control via an iPad or mobile multimedia device or use all the on-board electronics; which is more like those James Bond movies.
