As our experience tells us, when the Chinese are not busy creating DIY helicopters, auto gyros and submarines, they like to spend time creating weird bicycles and bikes. A Chinese man has created an amphibious bicycle that move on the land like any other bicycle would, but once in water, the foldable airbags in its wheels and seven paddles at its back come into play.

Deng Huaibin, the man who built this bicycle claims that it has nearly 300 parts, most of which are handmade, and that it took 40 car inner tires to create the airbags. The bike was completed over two years, and cost him $2930. He has applied for a patent for his homemade amphibious bike, and says that if the bike reaches mass production, it may only cost $81.
