Mitsubishi unveils Concept Global Small ahead of Geneva debut

2011 NAIAS isn’t yet over and upheavals have already started for the next big show in the auto industry, the Geneva Motor Show. Though Geneva Show is more than a month away; yet Mitsubishi’s Global Small concept intended for the show has been unveiled. The concept has attractive design, distinctive headlights, a sloping roofline, and flush door handles that add more to its overall looks.

Inside, there is efficient package to ensure comfort and it could seat five people. Concept Global Small (CGS) is merely a concept at the moment; however there are some hopes of it to enter in production in 2012. Power is expected to come from a 1.0- to 1.2-liter engine which is paired to a continually variable transmission.

To be manufactured, if enters production, in Thailand, CGS has a class-leading fuel efficiency as well as CO2 emissions "in the mid-90 g/km range. Apart from these, the vehicle will also have stop-start and regenerative braking for maximize efficiency.
