MyHandleBar - A pedal powered beer party on the go

Drinking beer with friends while chit chatting works as a great stress buster. But what if this 'drink party' happens while on the move? Well, it would be a real surreal experience for sure. Now, this 'beer on ride' experience will be possible since MyHandleBar is on horizon. It is a huge 16-seater bike with a barrel like shape. While the riders are required to pedal the bike, the driver deputed by the company steers the bike and operates brakes. However, beer will not be served on the bike as of now but it is hoped that they will be soon allowed by the authorities. The company is working in the cities of Fort Collins and Boulder presently and will hopefully expand its fleet of bikes to other cities of USA in near future.

MyHandleBar is a Colarado based company and its owner Theresa Preston also works as a driver for the bike and inspires women folk of the city to come out of the shell and join her in the brigade of bike drivers. Theresa launched her 2300 pound first bike in the town of Boulder and then after seeing its tremendous success and popularity launched another bike in the city of Fort Collins.

This bike is basically a brainchild of two brothers of Netherlands who designed the concept of the bike as a result of a challenge they accepted from a bar owner to build a float for the occasion of Queen's Day Parade. They quickly scribbled the plan on a napkin and voila, the huge barrel which serves beer to the pedaling riders was born. Theresa saw the bike in Entrepreneur magazine and decided to own them. Each bike cost Theresa a whopping $35,000 but she managed to buy two of them.

If you also want to go on a ride, you can visit the company's website for booking your seats and the groups can book the bike for $180 on weekends, $170 on weekdays and $200 on holidays.
