NEOS - An enclosed three-wheeled motorbike and a modular sidecar

If we talk about commutation in the coming decades, we would be needing compact and advanced vehicles that suit the time we will be in. Here is one which is not only compact, small in size but also has a number of safety features, including a side airbag for the driver, an airbag for the person sitting in the sidecar and padding for the knees and elbow.

Conceived by Daniel Munnink, the futuristic vehicle, NEOS, is an enclosed motorbike and a modular sidecar that incorporates a lot of tech in its carbon fiber body including GPS, touch-screen display, side view cameras, docks to connect your cellphone dozens other.

What’s more? NEOS is equipped with latest 3-phase AC induction motor and lithium battery tech, which adds more to its eco credentials and gives the three wheeled bike a range 260km on a single charge. It could ferry around two people at a time, and above all the NEOS remains flexible as the sidecar pod can easily be removed.

The other prominent features of the vehicle include vehicle detection senses, reverse and side mirror cameras, led lock and un-lock indicator, color touch screen display with automatic mobile phone sync, radio and MP3 capabilities, GPS feature, joy stick controls… which makes it perfect to fit in the future scenario.
