The cooperation agreement between PSA Peugeot Citroen and Ford has a new fruit, and the Peugeot 807 is reaping it. A new engine has been developed to complete the range of HDi engines in the partnership.

Peugeot 807 now also has a new 2.2 litre HDi DPFS engine along with the wide range of engines and power trains it has been sporting. The engine provides the vehicle with a power of 125KW and maximum torque of 370Nm.
There is a new type of combustion chamber, a third generation common rail injection system that increases injection pressure to a whopping 1,800 bar and the fitment of parallel sequence twin turbochargers.
Fuel economy and CO2 emissions stand at fairly good levels. Fuel consumption stands at 7.2 liters for 100km while exhaling out 191g/km of carbon dioxide. For Peugeot's home France, the new engine will be available in the Navteq version for €38,400.
