This vehicle with motorcycle front wheel and fork mounted on the front is a German tractor, designed during the Second World War. NSU Kettenkrad, also known as SdKfz 2, was designed to make through the rough and icy European terrains and was used to tow a small gun or a trailer at times. The Kettenkrad is just less than 10 feet long and has a room for three people. More images after the jump.

Out of over 9000 produced Kettenkrads, only a few survive today and the one pictured above is seen parked in one of the Copenhagen Streets. A water-cooled Opel four cylinders, lifted straight out of the Opel Olympia, power Kettenkrad. It weights 2700 pound and has 50mph of speed. With the distinction of being the smallest tracked vehicle in service in Europe, the vehicle could climb up to 24° in sand and even more in hard ground.
